This machine eats batteries like a hog when transmitting, so be sure to use the car adapter. Product works well, but takes a little more time than a regular CD player to load a CD when you first put it in. Everything else works basically as described, but watch for interference on the radio transmitter. Also, when turned off in middle of a track, will not return to it's place. Note that the car adapter has the option of charging rechargable batteries if rechargables are in the CD player, but it does not have a sensor for when to stop charging, so you have to stop it manually. (No big deal, just change the freq).I got this product at a bargain price (16.98 shipped). at amazon.com on black friday, and wouldn't necessarily recommend buying it for the list price.
This gotta be absolutely the best mp3/cd player under $20. COBY may not be a popular brand, but the quality is exceptional. This has to be one of the product that is under rated. Sound quality is crystal clear. There is only thing buyer has to look out for--it doesn't support WMA. I use it in every day basis because it consolidates more than 200+ songs in 1 CD. It comes with car adapter kit and good quality headphone. Not to mention it has long battery life and has equalizer on the display.
It has build in transmitter that simplify connection to any car with a radio. Those who have does not have audio in plug-in just save tons of money on the transmitter. A very satisfied listener here. Since most media player can convert mp3 on the fly, it shouldn't be a big of a deal. Thanks for listening.
It was great while it worked. Just didn't last very long. Save your money and get something better.
a bit disappointing, as it doesn't last long with batteries. But, when it is working, very good sound.
This device could only be used with plug in headsets. The wireless quality of the wireless sound is so bad that it is totally unusable on all frequencies.
